I want to send a big thank you to everyone for your support and comments this year. This was my best season yet, and I am very happy with my progress—going from being ranked 29th in the world in 2008 to 13th this year.

Kathy Tremblay Finishes 30th

Montréal, September 13 2009 (Sportcom) Kathy Tremblay finished 30th, Sunday, at the World Triathlon Championship Series Final, which waseld on the Gold Coast, Australia. She finished 5 min 48 s behind the winner. She completed the 1 500-m swim in 22 min 17 s, the 40 km bike in 1 h 03 min 47 s, and the 10 km run in 38 min 13 s.

Kathy Tremblay Canadian Vice-Champion

Montréal, August 23, 2009 (Sportcom) - Kathy Tremblay took home the silver medal at the Canadian Triathlon Championships held Sunday in Kelowna, B.C. The athlete, originally from Gatineau, completed the 1.5-km swim, 40-km bike, and 10-km run in 2 hr 05 min 12 s; 12 seconds.

Montréal, July 25 2009 (Sportcom) - Rain and wind were the order of the day for the female triathletes participating in the World Championship Series race in Hamburg. Avoiding a fall on the bike, Kathy Tremblay crossed the curtain of rain in 10th place.

Montréal, July 12, 2009 (Sportcom) - Triathlete Kathy Tremblay finished fourth in the fourth race of the World Championship Series held Sunday in Kitzbuhel, Austria. With a time of 1 hr 55 min and 21 s, the Montréaler missed the podium by four seconds. Australian Emma Moffatt (1 hr 54 min 38 s), Nicola Spirig of Switzerland (1 hr 55 min 12 s) and Andrea Hewitt of New Zealand (1 hr 55 min 17).
